This beautiful and rare painting depicts in fine details a clock with colorful flowers. It's an original 9" x 33" " oil on board, 1966. This painting was acquired by Georges S. Nader at Sotheby's 1988. Private Collection of Georges S. Nader.

Haitian sculptor and painter, Jasmin began his career a a sculptor, the most striking figures were animals. Upset because his works were being copied Joseph turned to painting. His use of animals tales to point a moral relates to traditions of Haitian folklore.
