My Appraiser's Professional Profile

I am an art dealer and appraiser who was born and raised surrounded by Haitian art.  I developed an appreciation and passion for art at an early age under the influence of my father, an icon in the Haitian art world. I specialize solely in Haitian art. I have been appraising it for nearly 10 years and selling it for over 25 years. I am a professional, experienced, and qualified Haitian art appraiser. In 2014, I joined the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) and the Association of Online Appraisers (AOA). Through their guidance, my professional education toward the appraisal field is ongoing. I am currently a candidate going toward my ASA certification in personal property. All of my appraisals are compliant with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices (USPAP) of the Appraisal Foundation and Code of Ethics of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA)

I am the daughter of the famous Haitian art dealer and art promoter, Georges S. Nader, founder of the internationally renowned Galeries d’Art Nader (Nader’s art Galleries) and Musée d’art Nader (Nader’s Art Museum) in Haiti since 1966. From 1989 to 1999, I assisted my father in managing both art galleries downtown and in Croix Desprez, and also worked closely with Mr. Gérald Alexis who was at that time the museologist and art critic for Musée d’art Nader in Haiti. In 2003, I opened Galerie d’Art Nader, LLC in Coral Gables, Florida with my siblings, Georges Jr. and John G. Nader. I closed the gallery to move to NY in 2007. Today, my virtual art gallery is a family trade business and is strictly online. It offers the largest and widest selection of Haitian art of nearly 20,000 pieces for sale.
