Description

"Rural Man/Neg Nan Bouk" is an original 20"x16" acrylic painting painted in 2021 by Haitian-American woman artist Mimi Desir. The artwork is sold unframed. In "Rural Man or Neg Nan Bouk", the cultivator stays busy in the mountains of Haiti all day clearing the water of anything that blocks the flow of water, as it must reach many fields. With no tools in their hands, they seem to enjoy that part to keep themselves busy and to socialize nearby.
