Fravrange Valcin, known as Valcin II, the brother of the famous Haitian painter, the late Gerald Valcin, was born in Gommiers, Haiti, on March 6, 1947, and died on December 3, 2010.
Valcin II paints with an emphasis on a compositional pattern, and his subjects are usually subordinate to design. He paints with skills and primary colors and has been exhibited in Haiti, the United States, and Europe. (Haiti Voodoo Kingdom by John Allen Franciscus)
