About this artist

Ernst Louizor was born in Port-au-Prince in 1938 and died on Aug , 2011. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, and thanks to him, Impressionism was reborn in Haiti. He has exhibited in Europe, the US, and Japan. His art is mentioned in all significant Haitian art books.
