About this artist
Fabolon Blaise (1959–1985) was born in Cap-Haïtien, Haiti, and began painting in 1975, following in the footsteps of his brothers Saint-Louis Blaise and Serge Moléon Blaise. His work reflects strong narrative composition and cultural symbolism, contributing to the development of modern Haitian art. Blaise is referenced in La Peinture Haïtienne / Haitian Arts by Marie-José Gardère and Gérald Bloncourt and is cited in several major books on Haitian art.
Despite his early death in 1985, Fabolon Blaise’s paintings remain valued by collectors of Haitian historical and Vodou-inspired art. Explore available works below.
