The landscape Haitian painter Jackson Ambroise painted this 18"x24" landscape scene with islands in oil on canvas against a greenish background in 1981. The well-acclaimed Haitian art critic Gerald Alexis carefully chose it to be part of the Foundation Marie & Marie S. Nader collection, and it is now for sale at Myriam Nader Haitian Art Gallery in New York. Our gallery will issue a certificate of authenticity upon purchase.

Jackson Ambroise is a painter born in Milot, Haiti. Ambroise's favorite subjects are landscapes and scenes of daily Haitian life. Although he doesn't paint as much as he used to, Jackson Ambroise is still an experienced painter with rare recent paintings. His paintings have been exhibited in France, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Venezuela, and Surinam.
