Smith Blanchard (Haitian, b.1952)

The Haitian artist Smith Blanchard was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, on August 19, 1952—Son of the late Haitian artist Sisson Blanchard, who initiated him to painting, Smith developed his unique style of vibrant jungle scenes painted in a primitive way.
