Ernst Jean-Louis began painting under the guidance of Antoine Daniel and Senatus, developing a style rooted in Haitian artistic traditions. In 1971, he participated in an exhibition at the Centre d’Art, Haiti’s leading artistic institution, marking an important step in his professional career.
