Edgard Souffrant (Haitian, 1942)

Edgard Souffrant was born on May 15, 1942 in Jacmel. He began painting in 1977 in the primitive style with the help of his younger brother Cemoin. He was a student of the late famous Haitian master artist Préfète Duffaut.
