Wilfrid Louis (b. 1943, Port-au-Prince, Haiti) is a Haitian painter known for his Impressionist style and refined depictions of Haitian life. He studied at Lycée Toussaint Louverture and later at the Académie des Beaux-Arts, where he developed his artistic foundation. In 1962, Louis began painting in an Impressionist manner under the guidance of Marco Amblugo and Montagutelli, refining a style characterized by light, color, and atmosphere.
