Description
Description
Albott Bonhomme brings his signature blend of naturalist precision and dense tropical color to this 2026 composition, centering a pair of vividly plumed lovebirds perched together on a bare branch above a lush jungle scene. Below them, a small waterfall spills into a winding turquoise stream, framed by banana leaves, bamboo stalks, and clusters of red flowering heliconia. The layered greenery recedes into a soft misty background, giving the piece depth while keeping the birds as the clear focal point. Painted on a 16 x 12 inch canvas mounted on panel, the work reflects the meticulous, self-taught technique that has made Bonhomme one of Haiti's most collected contemporary painters, particularly among buyers in the United States and Japan. The piece is signed by the artist and inscribed Y-01301285D. We will provide a Certificate of Authenticity.
