Description

This 1975 Cubist Female Nude Study continues Roland Dorcely's ongoing investigation of the female form through fractured, geometric composition, a defining thread across his modernist output. Rendered in pencil, the figure is broken into interlocking planes that shift between abstraction and bodily presence, capturing the same restless energy found throughout this series. Signed and dated by the artist, this piece comes from a private collector in Florida. The artwork will ship directly to the client from the collector. The drawing is in good condition, with minor foxing and a small 2mm hole consistent with its age. Our gallery will provide a certificate of authenticity upon purchase.
