Description

In this evocative composition, Claude Dambreville blends realism and abstraction to explore themes of peace, emotion, and reflection. Against a rich interplay of teal, ochre, and crimson tones, three white doves glide gracefully across the foreground—symbols of purity and hope. Behind them, a contemplative female figure emerges in layered transparency, her profile framed by the soft glow of the sun and a solitary red sphere, suggesting balance between turmoil and serenity. Dambreville’s signature style—characterized by sculptural modeling, geometric rhythm, and nuanced lighting—imbues the scene with quiet power and emotional depth. From a private collector in Connecticut, this painting will be shipped unframed directly from the collector. A Certificate of Authenticity will be issued by Myriam Nader Haitian Art Gallery upon purchase.
