This is an original vintage painting duly signed by the late Haitian master artist Jasmin Joseph! This painting depicts an arch in the shape of an island with people on it and guided by Jesus. It's an original 14.50" x 71" oil on masonite, dated in 1967. This is a museum piece.

This artwork belongs to the private collection of Georges S. Nader and is sold As-Is. It is in good condition.

About this artist

Haitian sculptor and painter, Jasmin began his career as a sculptor, the most striking figures were animals. Upset because his works were being copied Joseph turned to paint. His use of animal tales to point a moral relates to traditions of Haitian folklore.
