Description
Description
This dynamic oil painting by Haitian artist Fritz Rock captures the rhythm and energy of a bustling market scene. Rendered in his signature geometric and modernist style, the composition features elongated figures with angular limbs, gathered around baskets overflowing with tropical fruits. Rock’s bold lines and vibrant color palette—rich blues, oranges, and greens—convey both harmony and movement, reflecting the artist’s mastery at blending Cubist influences with Haitian everyday life.
The painting is oil on canvas, measures 16 x 24 inches, and shows minor surface scratches consistent with age. It is unframed and comes from a private collection in the Dominican Republic. Our gallery will issue a Certificate of Authenticity upon purchase, and the work will be shipped directly from the collector with professional packaging.
