Gesner Armand studied art both in Paris and Mexico. As a renown Haitian painter, he has exhibited in Haiti, Mexico, the United States, Paris, Spain, Jamaica, Martinique, Venezuela, Barbados, the Dominican Republic, Guadeloupe, and Israel. He is known for his luminous country scenes and his pigeons; and although his still-lives reveal an undeniable Mexican Influence his art reflects the strong love he has for his country, Haiti.
