Louines Mentor (born 1936 in St. Louis de Sud, Haiti) is a Haitian painter celebrated for his vibrant depictions of everyday life. Beginning his artistic journey in 1964, Mentor paints colorful street scenes and rural imagery that evoke the spirit of Haiti’s people and culture. His work combines narrative warmth with a style reminiscent of medieval tapestries and stained glass. Mentor’s paintings have been featured in America's magazine and collected by Jonathan Demme and Bryant University.
