The Haitian artist Joseph Cameau created this original 12"16" Rural field scene on board in 1980 in a primitive style. The art critic Gerald Alexis chose the artwork for the Marie & Georges S. Nader Foundation collection. Upon purchase, our gallery will provide a certificate of authenticity.

Haitian painter Joseph Cameau was born on March 7, 1948, in Port-au-Prince. He attended the Lycée A. Pétion and Quatre C. Schools. After working as an electrician, he began to paint in 1973, with instruction from Calixte Henry. He has been exhibited abroad. He uses flat colors with a scarped outline.
