Lamarre Sanon (frère cadet de Roosevelt Sanon) est né le 2 août 1954 à Jacmel. Après le Collège Moya de Jacmel, il commence à peindre en 1973. Son professeur est Marcsène Montprimier, et il suit le style primitif. Le rouge, le jaune et le vert sont ses couleurs préférées. ( Haïti Voodoo Kingdom Riviera par John Allen Franciscus, 1980)
