Albott Bonhomme (Haitian, b. 1963)

Self-taught artist Albott Bonhomme was born in 1963 in Port-de-Paix, Haiti. He became a professional artist in 1990 and painted birds in a luxuriant and oasis setting. He has exhibited all over the world, and his art is well appreciated by many collectors internationally, mostly in the US and Japan. His “ Tropical forest scenes evoke the environmental problems confronting Haiti”  (Peintres Haitiens by Gerald Alexis, Editions Cercle d’Art, 2000).
